Private Commissions

Work with Marieka Hambledon to bring your treasured people or places to life with a custom painting meticulously crafted from either photographs or a combination of photographs and sittings. Each portrait offers a timeless keepsake, or a treasured gift to add special life to your walls and flood your heart with memories.

The Process

A discussion about the painting will take place to gain greater insight into what the client would like to capture, and the sizing before a formal quote is issued.

From there 50% deposit is paid and work is scheduled to begin by either crafting sitting/photographs or working from a supplied image. The image is agreed upon by both parties before painting is commenced.

Once scheduled and start date provided the painting usually requires a few weeks depending on the size and complexity.

Final payment in made on completion of work.

Framing is not included but can be quoted as part of the process.

Pricing

Pricing is calculated at $4.50 per square inch for private commissions.

12″ x 16″ – $864

16″ x 20″ – $1440

21″ x 30″- $2835
