Public Commissions

Marieka Hambledon has worked with numerous organisations and city councils to bring some vibrant public art to life. Whether it be murals or event activations her work can add that special wow factor, human connection or immersive environment you are looking for.

The Process

Marieka will set up a meeting either in person or via zoom to determine the scope of the project. Assets such as photographs may be exchanged in order for a formal quote and preliminary drawings to be created as part of the official brief and submission.

From there 50% deposit is paid and concept drawings are refined, completed and approved before work begins.

Scheduling of the project will be negotiated and is dependant on desired timeframes, scale and surfaces.

Final payment in made on completion of work.

Pricing

Pricing is dependant on scope and scale, along with detail and timeframes. Guidelines for pricing is based on NAVA public art industry rating. Budgets are welcome for discussion and Marieka will gladly negotiate what is achievable for your project.
