A very special commission of my gorgeous sister when she was pregnant with my niece. A precious moment captured on the precipice of both of our lives changing forever. As mother and aunt. The moment just before we rise to be the women the generation below us need us to be. It starts with that floating feeling of wonderment and marveling at what it takes to gift life to another and how unbelievably kick-ass and beautiful that is.
