South Australian Cricket Association has kindly commissioned this painting as a donation to Rashid Khan and his Foundation. The Rashid Khan Foundation provides humanitarian assistance to the under privileged communities of Afghanistan; particularly focussing on the education of women, clean drinking water and affordable health facilities.
The painting will be auctioned off in the coming months, with proceeds going to the Rashid Khan Foundation.
It has been such an honour to paint such a generous and talented individual. A giant of the game with a giant heart.
